Dr. Tiffany Wong is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Surgery, The University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include expanding the pools of livers for successful transplantation with small-for-size livers, hepatitis B core antibody positive and severely steatotic grafts and on management of hepatocellular carcinoma. Her work was supported by numerous external grants, and she has been awarded with the Best Oral Awards at the Congress of International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHBPA), Asian-Pacific Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Association (A-PHBPA), the Liver Transplant and/or Hepatobiliary Surgery Fellow Award by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and most notably, the Rising Star Award of the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS). As a result of the excellent research work, she has published in top-level journals including Journal of Hepatology, Hepatology, Annals of Surgery, Annals of Surgical Oncology and Liver Transplantation etc and she is the awardee for the Asia Pacific Digestive Week Federation (APDWF) Emerging Leader Lectureship in 2023. She serves as associate editor at American Journal of Transplantation.
