Professor Qian Lu is tenured Associate Professor of the School of Clinical Medicine and Executive Deputy Director of the Institute for Organ Transplantation and Bionic Medicine at Tsinghua University. She is also chief physician, doctoral supervisor and vice president of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital.

Professor Lu holds multiple leadership roles in professional organizations, including Standing Committee Member of the Organ Transplant Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, Vice President of the Organ Transplant Specialist Physician Branch of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association, and Committee Member of the Organ Transplantation Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. She is also Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General of the Organ Transplant Branch of the Cross-Strait Medical and Health Exchange Association, and Vice Chairperson and Secretary-General of the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Professional Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association.

As a key contributor to academic steering, Professor Lu is Assistant Editor-in-Chief of iLiver and editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery. She has authored over 100 publications in SCI-indexed and Chinese core journals and contributed to five academic monographs.

Professor Lu’s research has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award as a principal contributor, three First Prizes of Provincial/Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards, and the First Prize of the Military Medical Achievement Award. She has received support from the Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals' Ascent Plan and leads the Beijing Excellent Clinical Research Program for Research Wards. Professor Lu has secured significant research funding as principal investigator of two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grants, co-principal investigator of one NSFC Key Program, and subproject leader of one NSFC Major Program.
