Professor Oleksandr Babliak obtained his specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery in 1997 in Kyiv, Ukraine. He further advanced his expertise through additional training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia, from 1999 to 2001. He obtained his PhD in 2005.

With over 17 years of experience in adult cardiac surgery and 11 years encompassing both adult and pediatric cardiac procedures, Professor Babliak has established a distinguished career. Since 2016, he is Chief of the Cardiac Surgery Division at Dobrobut Medical Network in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Professor Babliak’s clinical and research interests are primarily focused on minimally invasive surgical techniques for both adult and pediatric cardiac patients. He is also the innovator of the minimally invasive multivessel coronary artery bypass grafting method known as TCRAT-CABG.
