Dr. Max Wong is Associate Consultant in Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. He graduated from the LKS Faculty of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong and completed his specialist training within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital.

Dr. Wong’s clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of adult cardiothoracic surgery, with specialised interest in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, robotic surgery, mitral valve repair, and arrhythmia surgery. Following advanced training in Australia, he has been integral to the pioneering team performing the Hybrid Convergence procedure for persistent long-standing atrial fibrillation at Queen Mary Hospital or Grantham Hospital, which is the first programme of its kind in Asia.​
